FRIDAY, 7/25 from 6:30PM -> I’m looking forward to rocking on the Red Bull Sound Select Stage at this year’s Denver Post Underground Music Showcase. The UMS is one of Colorado’s main music festivals, taking over South Broadway every July for years and I’m excited to be a part of the growing hip hop presence at the event. The festival is four days long with a ton of acts from all different genres, here’s the schedule/lineup for the stage I’m playing on this Friday evening:
6PM — Wild High
6:40PM – DJ Low Key
7PM — Astronautalis
7:40PM – DJ Low Key
8PM — Tanlines
8:40PM – DJ Low Key
9PM – People Under the Stairs
Red Bull Sound Select is making discounted tickets available (details here) and the stage (know as the Main/Mini Stage at SSFCU throughout the entire festival) is outside at 21 S. Broadway.

SATURDAY, 7/19 at 8pm -> Dance floor classics, soul classics, and afro house from Denver’s legendary party So What! the Club at Beauty Bar Denver (608 13th Ave). This one is gonna be hotter than July! SO WHAT! presents CLASSIC FLAVOR!!!
This is gonna be a night to remember so come have a dance and a drink! We are also the afterparty for the KIISIDUGU FUSION CD Release party, so come on down and have a funky good time with the sounds of SOUL, AFRO HOUSE and other grooves. All night nothing but classics to keep you in the groove

Plus, we’re adding Jaime Molina’s award-winning custom Red Bull cooler to The Meadowlark, giving away complimentary Jaime/Joseph Martinez Goodness buttons, showcasing his art & more!!!
SUNDAY, 7/20 at 3pm -> The last few weeks have been ridiculously fun at Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends and as Summer marches on, so do the good times. This weekend, LA’s own DJ Morse Code (former Thre3 Style US finalist, 1/2 of Pools and one of the craziest DJs in the country) and longtime Denver favorite and selector extraordinaire DJ Love will be joining me on the turntables while we celebrate the works of Jaime Molina, the celebrated Denver artist whose award-winning Red Bull canvas cooler will be mounted at The Meadowlark!
Jaime’s also gonna be bringing in some of fantastically unique art out to the patio to display and we’re gonna be giving away a limited run of buttons made from the Goodness-inspired piece art that him and art prodigy Joseph Martinez painted at the first party of the Summer!!!
As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll be celebrating Goodness regular & CO hip hop favorite Marissa Gavel’s birthday (pictured below with fellow friend of the party Karma Leigh) and wishing our friends Greg Rodriguez aka Nooker Oners (for his Farewell To The Desert Going Away Party) and DJ B*Money (who’s going to Serbia for the rest of the Summer for a US hip hop ambassador program with hip hop legend Diamond D) a fond farewell before their upcoming trips, so make sure to get any of the three agua frescas if you see them out!
Also, we’ve got our last batch of complimentary stadium style Goodness cups for the first 25 people to get drinks (after this party they’ll be gone for good) and Moontower Tacos will be out front making their ridiculously good tacos to feed the party.

Sunday, 7/13 at 1pm -> The Meditations Of Marcus Arrilius Release Party + Celebrate Life at Goodness w/extra special guest Fat Trak, DJ Dozen, DJ Motto & DJ Low Key on the Meadowlark’s patio! Come celebrate the long-awaited release of the late great Marcus Arrilius & Fat Trak’s official debut album!!!
SUNDAY, 7/13 from 1pm-10pm -> Almost a year and a half ago, Denver lost a very significant voice way before his time with the passing of the late great Marcus Arrilius. While the man’s presence is sorely missed around town, his musical legacy lives on in the form of his highly anticipated debut album with producer Fat Trak and it was an honor when Trak reached out to have Goodness host its official release. Over the last year and half, Fat Trak has been taking the time to lovingly craft every detail on the album and the result is unquestionably one of the best albums I’ve ever heard come out of Colorado, regardless of the tragic back story or not, and with that said, if you’re a fan of music in Denver, hip hop, myself or whatever, please make sure that if you’re only gonna come out to one Goodness this Summer, please make it this one.
We’ll be playing the album a few times through from 1pm-3pm and we’ll have hard copies of the albums for sale, with half of the proceeds going to Marcus’s children (get out a taste of the project below). Then around 3pm, Meditations Of Marcus Arrilius producer Fat Trak will showcase a beat set for the crowd, followed by DJ sets from the two DJs featured on the album, frequent collaborators DJ Dozen & DJ Motto, as well as myself. Throughout the day, we’ll be celebrating the music and life of Marcus and in doing so, hopefully appreciating life ourselves. I know it sounds over the top, but the party’s called Goodness and celebrating life is what we do regularly, so let’s take 7/13 to be a little more appreciative of life. HUGE shouts to Fat Trak for reaching out help with the album release and DJ Dozen for all his help on the event, it’s an honor to help preserve the legacy of an underexposed Denver great.
Also, as usual we’ve got complimentary stadium style Goodness cups for the first 25 people to get drinks, as well as complimentary buttons for everybody! And of course, Moontower Tacos will be out front making their incredible, uniquely tasty tacos to fuel the party, making the cipher complete. We’ve got another three guests in store for this Sunday, with Solution co-founder Sounds Supreme, my favorite female selecta in Denver, DJ Izer, and DJ Pat Allen (aka DJ Boo Bear) joining me on the turntables for some Red, White & Blue Goodness over the Forth Of July weekend.

SUNDAY, 6/29 from 3-10pm -> Summer’s in full swing, Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends has been on a roll lately and things are just getting better. This time around, I’m GEEKED to be featuring a surprise guest who’s a bit of a DJ legend throughout the world, a person who’s renowned for their DJ skills, first and foremost, and someone you don’t want to miss. We’ll be announcing who it is the morning of the party and the mystery guest will be rocking at 4pm sharp, so make sure to come out early so you don’t miss it. On top of the surprise guest, I’m super excited to be welcoming DJ Discord back to Goodness. Discord is the infamous Crunk Brother who’s blessed the party with an amazing mix of samba, bossa nova, Brazilian funk & soul plus more from his numerous pilgrimages to South America to dig for records in years passed and he’s back with even more fresh music we’ve never heard.

It’s an honor in itself to be nominated, but everyone wants to win.
