FRIDAY, 2/14 -> Before anything, HUGE shout out to everyone who came out to last Friday’s 7 year anniversary of The Solution! It was one of the craziest nights in the party’s history & our biggest night at the Meadowlark yet, thank you Denver!!!

With that said, Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, so you know DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez had to get together all the best rap love songs, sweet soul music and of course, slow jams (an hour of them to close out the night!!!) to celebrate the night. Producers, beatmakers, musicians & such, if you’d like to enter The 2014 Solution Beat Battle, here’s what you need to do by midnight on Sunday, 2/23.  Please send either:

-A soundcloud link to 3+ of your beats
or
-An e-mail with 3 beats attached
or
-A streaming link to a project you produced

and

-a photo of yourself (to be posted when the competitors are announced)

Friday, 1/31 -> The Solution w/DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez retires our current logo with complimentary ‘bring your own shirt’ live screenprinting by Filthe! Bring a blank tee & we’ll transform it into a fresh Solution one!!!

FRIDAY, 1/31 -> To commemorate the logo we’ve been using for the last few years, we’re having Gabe “Filthe” Parra come in to do complimentary ‘bring your own shirt’ screenprinting as we bid it a fond farewell!  What does that mean?  It means you can bring in a blank shirt to the party and we’ll turn it into a fresh, Solution logo tee on the spot, for free!!!  The live screenprinting was a huge hit last time around (at 2013’s final Goodness), check the video of Filthe at Goodness HERE.

FRIDAY, 12/20 -> Lazy Claus is back!!!  That’s right, everyone’s favorite chimney hopping Asian DJ returns to The Solution and this Friday is your chance to get a pic with him (no sitting on his lap though, he’s got a girl!) at the Meadowlark.  Him & DJ Low Key will be rocking turntables and giving out gifts throughout the night, as we celebrate the holiday season and a great year in 2013.  We’ll also be welcoming our friends Karma Leigh, Xencs L.
