We’re celebrating Father’s Day and the birthdays of DJ Amen, Charley Cox, MC Big House, Karma Leigh, Donwill, Scotty C, DJ Low Key & more with Moontower Tacos, pics by Knower Of Ledge, ZenOne and complimentary Goodness cups/buttons!!!
SUNDAY, 6/15 at 3pm -> Despite last Sunday’s rainy, 45 degree, bizarro world weather, June remains in full effect and that means there’s a ton of Summer birthdays to celebrate at Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends this Father’s Day weekend, with DJ Amen, Charley Cox, MC Big House, Karma Leigh, Donwill, Scotty C and myself celebrating, adding up to some certified Birthday Madness Goodness.
For the day’s soundtrack, me, DJ Amen and Von Pea & Donwill aka Brooklyn’s own Tanya Morgan will be on the turntables (with the odds that Don & Von rap a few verses being pretty high), bringing as much quality music as we can fit into one day on The Meadowlark’s beautiful patio. We’ve also got complimentary stadium style Goodness cups for the first 25 people to get drinks, as well as complimentary buttons for everybody! And as usual, Moontower Tacos will be making their incredible, uniquely tasty tacos to fuel the party.

SUNDAY, 6/8 from 3-10PM -> Last weekend’s Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends featured another packed Sunday, full of smiles and great vibes, and things are only getting better with the Summer season is in full swing. For this week’s Goodness, I’ll be welcoming special guests and Denver favorites Spencer Foreman (aka Spencertron / Wu-Tang Wednesdays) and Mikey Fresh (Soul City Studios) out to The Meadowlark’s gorgeous patio to join me on the turntables for as much feel good music as we can fit into seven hours.

FRIDAY, 6/6 -> It’s First Friday in the city and we’re excited to be helping make Denver prettier by featuring artwork by Colorado Crush founder Dread at The Solution w/DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez!!! The party’s been extra packed and fun lately, and we’re looking forward to making things better with a great assortment of new works from Denver graf favorite at The Meadowlark.

Sunday, 6/1 from 3-10pm -> Last weekend’s double dose of Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends was crazy fun, with extra an wild Sunday going late followed by a mellowed out Monday Reggae vibe to close out a crazy busy weekend. This Sunday we’re back at it with special guests DJ B*Money (Crunk Brothers/former US DMC finalist) & Tew. (fka Spock Jenkins) joining me on the turntables for what marks two years to the week since I partnered up with The Meadowlark to launch Goodness with no clue of all the fun that was in store back in June 2011 (2 years/3 seasons as of now)!!!
For the celebration, Moontower Tacos will be making their delicious, one of a kind tacos as usual out front, plus we’re bringing in the gourmet ice cream sandwich wizards from Peteybird in to cover dessert!
On top of that, we’ve also got complimentary plastic stadium style Goodness cups for the first 25 people to get drinks, as well as complimentary buttons for everybody!

Sunday, 5/25 -> It’s Memorial Day weekend and that means time for an extra big, double dosage of Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends, with parties on Sunday & Monday!!! Not only is there an extra bonus All Reggae Goodness on Memorial Day Monday, but the lineup for Sunday is extra big with my old tour buddy, Seattle/LA’s own Sabzi (1/2 of Made In Heights & 1/2 of Blue Scholars), joining me and Denver favorites Deejay SD & Deftron on the turntables for what promises to be an extra great day!
On top of 4 DJs, we’ll be welcoming special guest food truck and longtime Solution favorite, The Slider Shack out to give the party a cookout vibe for the day (don’t worry though, Moontower Tacos will be back for Monday’s bonus Goodness & next Sunday)!!

MONDAY, 5/26 at 3pm -> Memorial Day weekend is always a fun one. Summer madness officially begins and through the magic of the holiday, we get to double up with a bonus Memorial Day Monday edition of Goodness w/DJ Low Key & friends for two times the fun! We’re going full reggae with the bonus day, with DJ Uplifter (Dub Palace / Dubwise Collective) & DJ Miggy Camacho (Lucha Rama / Motown Thursdays) joining me on the turntables for a day full of roots, dancehall, rocksteady, hip hop with reggae samples & more.

As usual, the music will be on point, with that dude DJ Dozen & Denver house veteran Bones joining me on the turntables for your day’s soundtrack. Also, we’ve got complimentary new Goodness pins for everybody, hot off the presses!
