MONDAY, 6/23 at 8pm -> *Does a happy dance*
If you came out to see Phonte & Nicolay aka The Foreign Exchange in their infamous RBMA-backed 2011 Colorado debut (you can listen here), then I’ll just cut to the chase so you can go ahead and get your presale tickets for this time around. You can get them HERE.
Now for everybody else. Grammy nominated duo, The Foreign Exchange, put on a ridiculously great show, the crowd that comes out is cool as can be and seeing them with the live band really takes producer Nicolay’s work to another level. Phonte is a natural born entertainer and their band is super dope, with Zo! on the keys, a variety of dope rotating vocalists (including the likes of Sy Smith, AB & Jene Jolly to name a few) and other fantastic players, rocking their super thorough catalog and a few covers. FE’s live show ends up being about as good of a time you can have in two or so hours, I HIGHLY recommend it.
As if that wasn’t enough, I’ll be getting the night started at Cervantes Masterpiece Theater with a variety of soul, R&B, house, hip hop and more to get the vibe set for what’s gonna be about as sure shot of a memorable night as the Summer’s going to offer. Get your pre-sales online HERE and make sure you put this one in your calendar. 8pm doors / 2637 Welton Street.
