Tuesday, 12/31 -> New Year’s Eve w/DJ Low Key at La Biblioteca! Only $60 for bottomless drinks & apps, party favors and more at one of Denver’s best new spots (attached to Zengo)!!!

TUESDAY, 12/31 -> 2013 has probably been my best year of DJing to date and I’m excited to be wrapping up in great fashion at La Biblioteca, the brand new tequila “library”/lounge/restaurant/sister space to Zengo at 1610 Little Raven Street (check out pictures here).  I’ll be on turntables spinning all that goodness you love, but the music’s only part of the fun; for $60 a person you get bottomless small plates and appetizers, plus some party favors to bring the new year (reservations required, call 720.904.0965 / Also, if you have dinner at Zengo before, entry for the NYE party at La Biblioteca is discounted).  Based on last year’s New Year’s Eve at Al Lado (Zengo’s previous sister lounge), things should pretty crazy and end up fully-booked, so make sure you make your reservations early for one’s of Denver’s best NYE options.

More info on La Biblioteca from their web site:

Steps from the Millennium Bridge in the heart of Denver’s RiverFront Park neighborhood, La Biblioteca comes to Denver by way of internationally-recognized Chef Richard Sandoval. Modeled after Chef’s esteemed New York City concept, “the Library of Tequila,” serves up a collection of his personal favorite tequila selections and a menu of Latin-Asian chef inspired cuisine ranging from sushi, wok dishes to carefully-curated small plates, tacos, and salads.

Boasting one of the largest collections of tequilas, mezcals, and agave spirits in the nation, with over 350 to choose from, La Biblioteca is intimate, with a hint of mystery. Bottles align the walls — all organized in categories — and serve to support our library theme. You’ll find tequilas aged anywhere from seven days to 25 years, and we’re betting you’ll taste one you like.

As the evening ages, the tequila library transitions into a high-energy late-night lounge where you’ll “check-out” bottles of tequila instead of books and have them stored in your personal locker to sip on upon your return. Happy hour, dinner, viewing the game, late night cocktails- the Biblioteca experience is yours.

Salud y buen provecho!

Sunday, 1/20 at 10:30 am -> Zengo Bottomless Brunch w/guest DJ Low Key…$35 for endless small plates & cocktails at one of Denver’s best restaurants…

SUNDAY, 1/20 from 10:30am-2:30pm -> Last month was great, from getting recognized as “the DJ from last night at Beauty Bar” to the GM getting hyped for D’Angelo songs to the ongoing requests from tables to turn the music up, and now I’m back again with another guest set at Zengo’s incredible Bottomless Brunch (1610 Little Raven St).  For $35 you get all endless cocktails and delicious small plates you can handle from one of the best restaurants in town (look at the damage me and Zengo resident, DJ Cyn did below) while I spin all sorts of feel good music to make your Sunday the highlight of your week.  Some of my picks are the carnitas hash, thai chicken empanadas, shrimp vegetable potsickers and acho bacon & eggs with a Zengo (blood orange/mango) mimosa, but the joy of bottomless brunch means you can try whatever looks good on their delicious menu.
