Every THURSDAY, starting 7/28 -> I’m joining forces with one of my favorite DJs, the incomparable DJ Amen, to start a night dedicated to exceptional club music. Not just hip hop and definitely not too heavy on the electronic side, we’re creating a weekly night about fun, dance-friendly music that we think is good. The Hai Bar at Sushi Hai (32nd & Lowell) sweetened the deal by adding a late night happy hour menu to the night and Amen’s helping kick things off proper by debuting his new mixtape, Never Trust Robots 2, on 7/28 and giving away copies before it hits the net (download the original Never Trust Robots here). You can’t ask for much more, can you? See you at Listen Up!!! No cover /// 21+ /// 8-12+ PM.
