I’m sure most of you in Denver have heard by now, the Shelter’s last night was Friday the 20th. The venue was one of the few bigger spots that supported “alternative” (i.e. not top 40) music, it’ll be missed. Over the last few years they’ve hosted countless hip hop shows (Questlove spinning, Slum Village, AZ, Jeru, Little Brother, J-Live, Blu, Median, Tanya Morgan, Che Grand & so on), some of the best house DJs in the world (Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Derrick Carter & more) and of course dope weekly parties like the Solution with me & Sounds Supreme.

With that said, the Solution will continue on, we can’t be stopped or held down (c) Geto Boys, Mase and Puff. The last few months have been RIDICULOUS (big up everyone who’s been coming through, we love y’all) and we’ve already been gettin hit up with offers from places that wanna have us come in. We’re finalizing the final details on a new spot and we’ll be posting them real soon. In the meantime, check out some of the pics of the Solution in the galleries here.
